Loop-Handled Cosmetic Tube
Eastern Mediterranean, 4th–5th century A.D.
This vessel is an exquisite example of the glassblower's art. Molten glass can be blown into a bubble and shaped to any form. Once the basic shape was produced, decoration and handles were added.
